The Dalmatian pelican Kerk
The young Dalmatian pelican, Kerk, is in the Danube Delta, about 500km away from his birthplace of Lake Kerkini, where he was fitted with a transmitter and ringed this June. In three months he has gone from his very first flights to crossing the skies of 3 countries, and has visited more than 10 wetlands in Greece, Bulgaria and Rumania. We await his next move with a great deal of interest!
