Boat ride

An activity with great interest in the wetland of the lake Kerkini. The visitor has the chance to admire the magnificence and the beauty of the forest next to the lake, the Strimonas Delta, the spawning grounds, the breathtaking mountainsides, the bird nests and the little island which is the Pelicans’ “home». The secret of Kerkini – the hundreds of thousands of birds scattered in its calm waters.

Accompanying boatman, traditional boat “plava”, full equipment (life-vests, oars, safety equipment etc.), hot cup of tea or coffee-water-juice and sandwich (if requested).
